I remember when Facebook first came about for my friends and I, the freedom of having a place to talk to your friends and share photos without having to gain permission from anyone. It was a place we could openly talk to one another, and use whatever foul mouthed language we chose.

Recently, I was contacted by an old friend of mine, Michelle Brady, who teaches at the Vale Junior School here in Guernsey. She told me that her class of 8-9 year olds had started a project where they were designing and advertising their own brand of chocolates and that they could do with some advice regarding how advertising works.
